A Good Time Had by All

More than 500 people attended the 2008 Wyoming State Oldtime Fiddle Contest in Thermopolis, April 26-27.
The contest drew fiddlers from throughout the state, ranging from age 5 (Rachel Merchant, Casper) to age 86 (Leonard Zierlein, Burlington). The contest is sanctioned by National Oldtime Fiddle Association. Winners qualified to participate in the national contest in Weiser, Idaho, in June.

Mark your calendar for next year’s event, to be held May 30-31, 2009.
