2009 Wyoming State Oldtime Fiddle Contest
Winners Announced
Over 220 people attended the 36th Annual Wyoming Oldtime Fiddlers Contest, Sat.-Sun., May 30-31, in Thermopolis.

This year’s winners were:
State Champion Fiddler:
   Casey Whiteman,Casper.
Winner of other categories:
Senior (ages 60+)
   Lynn Knapp, Cody;
Adult (ages 18-59):
   Billy Browning, Powell;

 
Junior (ages 13-17):
   Anastasia Beeson,    Casper;
Junior-Junior
(ages 9-12):

   Ana Merchant, Casper;
Small Fry (less than 9):
    Jillian Easum, Cody;

Novice (all ages):
   Madison Montgomery,    Cody;

Twin Fiddles (all ages):
    Kelly & Tally Wells,
    Deaver;
No Holds Barred
(all ages):

    Cody Stadelmaier,
    Ft. Collins, Colo.

This year’s judges were Nancy Padilla, Bozeman, Mont.; Natalie Padilla, Greeley, Colo., and Tyler Enders, Casper.
The contest is nationally sanctioned by the National Oldtime Fiddle Association, Weiser, Idaho.
